[Aer-div07] vision therapy

Dear listserv members,
I read Cheryl's comments and find that they seem logical.  I have a student who is in the process of getting vision therapy.  Until the therapy is complete (hopefully it will be successful) the student needs vision adaptations and modifications in the classroom to help them keep pace with her peers.  Who better to understand vision problems - so I'm providing short-term vision services.

 I feel that it is important to be pro-active, positive and understanding with the student, school staff, and parents who are all in this.  My most recent case has turned out successful and  the student  plans to  continue to use many of the vision modifications (at home  while doing homework!)  we  worked  on.
