    I have here for sale one Index Basic-S braille embosser in excellent condition.  This is a single sided embosser that takes tractor fed paper only, has serial and parallel connectivity, and is documented by the manufacturer to emboss at 50 cps, about 170 pages per hour.  Though this unit is a bit old, it has seen extremely little use over that time, which is precisely the reason I am selling it.  I'm unable to locate the CD that was bundled with it, but it's not necessarily essential to its operation.  I do however have all documentation and a parallel cable that I can include.
Note that index has raised the price of this embosser to almost $3000 even, due to some new features such as a USB connecter and networking capability.  For those who don't want or need all those features and want a like new high quality embosser, I'll take $2500 (negotiable).  The buyer must pay shipping as well.
