  Hi Jaynann,

Although I haven't used any of these personally with JAWS, I understand that the following are all somewhat accessible, to varying degrees:

Accessible Dictionaries Online:
www.dictionary.com
wsmith at wordsmith.org
http://www.wordweb.co.uk
www.refdesk.com

BrainDex works with JAWS: http://braindex.com/dictionary
Press the letter “f” once. JAWS should say "Search Dictionary." Press ENTER to turn on Forms Mode. Type the word you're looking for. Press ENTER (equivalent to clicking on the "Go Button"). Press ALT to silence JAWS speech. Press the letter h once to move to the Heading for the entry. Now you can press DOWN ARROW to read the entry one line at a time or INSERT+DOWN ARROW to read the entire entry. BrainDex lists meanings of words and makes reference to specific people's use of the words.

I was wondering what online dictionary's work well with JAWs? I have a
sophomore who has to define words for biology and algebra. He has been
trying to use the Language Master and it does not have the words he
needs. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
