Thanks to all who responded to my cry for info on how to go about hiring a 
transcriber.  Very helpful suggestions.  Also, a lot of people were asking where 
I am located.  The job is in Philadelphia working for the School District of 
Philadelphia.  Good slaary, good benefits and rewarding work.
