[AERNet] ESL student

I just was assigned an 11 year old girl from Africa who is blind with NLP.  She doesn't speak any english and there is not a translator available.  She seems quite bright and will learn things quickly.  Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation and could share some ideas of how to proceed with instructing this student?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
