Hi,
And to add to what Jody said, be sure the person knows the spoon bowl
must be parallel to the table and must be lifted straight up, not at an
angle or they won't get a full spoonful.

Hi Chris,

When I want to measure a liquid like medication or vanilla or anything
like 
that, I put the liquid in a baby food jar or any jar with a wide mouth
and 
then I use a metal measuring spoon to scoop it out.  If you bend the
bowl of 
the spoon at right angles to the handle it is very handy to scoop.
