The managing editor of mayoclinic.org is a friend of mine, and they
are
reworking the user interface. She is asking me about screen readers,
but I think the bigger issue is overall accessibility, correct?

I seem to remember some standards on making websites accessible, but
can't remember where I saw them. Any tips? And, I guess if they are
making changes, what is the gold standard for screen readers, in your
opinions? Would such adaptive interfaces work with all screen readers
or is there not enough standardization?

Sorry to appear dumb, but where can we go to get more background?

Thanks in advance,

Dennis
