[AERNet] Braille music

People seem to be suggesting that if the rest of the children are learning
music then why shouldn't the Braille student? Very nice theoretically, but
as the post suggests, the student already has tons of extra-curricula
material to learn that the other students simply do not have to. That time
has to come from some place. So, is this a skill that in 4th grade, while he
or she is still developing other skills, in abacus, keyboarding, electronic
braille notetakers, JAWS, O&M, ( do I need to go on) that in 4th grade
becomes a critical skill? Or maybe, later on once the foundation skills have
become firmly established and internalized, then you can introduce a new
Braille.code?
