I know I am a little late in making my last reply but I am having
trouble replying to the list. I have one final comment about this topic.

As this is my first discussion on Aernet, I know I have much to learn.
I fully support learning music braille as part of the 4th grade
curriculum. I did not mean to give the impression to dismiss the
importance of learning music braille. I know too well how important
it is to teach music reading skills to all students. (Sighted
students have a difficult enough time) Please understand that I, as a
student myself, have not learned music braille yet. I plan to in the
near future and will use it in future teaching opportunities. My
comments are not only coming from a vision specialist, but as a music
teacher also. One of the backbones of education is to give our
students opportunities to enrich their educational experience and make
it enjoyable for them. Music is taught from day 1 and music skills
will increase as our students' academic skills allow them to learn it
well.

I wish I were more helpful to provide resources, but several have been
suggested.

I know this topis has been thoroughly "worked over", so I will sign
off now and say farewell.
