Kim: Barbara Pierce of the NFB board is a master knitter and user of
braille patterns; she makes beautiful and complex Aram designs, among
others. She lives in Oberlin, Ohio.

Ski for light has a website that might provide you with articles about
BVI cross country skiers
www.sfl.org

The NFB Sports and Recreation Division has among its members many blind
athletes; www.nfb.org ad click on Divisions.
and then there's the US Association of Blind Athletes, USABA, in
Colorado Springs.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [AERNet] articles about leisure activities and blind/VI

I'm looking for references (links, authors, titles, Etc.),
of articles that deal with leisure activities and people who are blind
or visually impaired.

Also, does anyone know of articles on the following:

1.	knitting for people who are blind or visually impaired;
2.	2. container gardening for people who are blind or visually
impaired.

Thanks in advance,

Kimberly morrow
