Kathy,

In addition to the BrailleNote and Braille Sense, there is also the PAC Mate
from Freedom Scientific. I am mostly familiar with the PAC Mate, so I'll
leave it to those familiar with all devices to share with us the pros and
cons of each.

Subject: [AERNet] Braille notetaker

I am a teacher of the visually impaired and currently have 2 fifteen year
old braille readers using a BrailleNote as a notetaker. We will soon need to
replace these with either a transplant or a different piece of technology.
They also have a laptop with Jaws. My question is: has anyone had experience
with BOTH the BrailleNote AND the Braille Sense? If so, what is your opinion
on each? Is one better than the other? Thanks in advance for any responses!!
