[AERNet] FW: First ever tactile recycling sacks for the blind

I love this list. So many varied thoughts and opinions.

I'm not sure I can answer you question "LiveInSpirit," but two things
come to mind although they both are a bit lame, I must admit.
1. The user wouldn't have to stick their hands in the bags to determine
what's in them. (I just keep mine in a specific place and therefore I
know which is which. Maybe they have many more categories in the UK than
we do down here in GA.)
2. They would be able to distinguish the bags when stored, although a
good organizational system and appropriate box/bin labeling system could
resolve this.

Maybe we should contact the folks in the UK and ask what they think.

I'm sure there'll be other ideas and opinions, especially for what seems
like a comparatively small issue.
Ike

Maybe I am missing something here. Why would they need tactile markings
ont he sacks? Wouldn't they be able to tell what was in them and put
like items together?
