Hello Holly,

Aren't statistics the collection of data? I have collected data from a
random sampling of Braille reading adults who learned Braille as children.

Collect enough facts and they become static's.

I look back at my school records and I see the comment "she does well
considering her vision limitations" These comments were all made in
evaluating my reading based on my limited vision. I didn't read well for a
sighted student. Of course I didn't because I was a blind student expected
to read print. What if I had been taught Braille, then I could have soared
rather then stumbling along as a sighted student.

Everyone was happy at the time and how relieved they all were when I
graduated. BUT I GRADUATED WITH A THIRD GRADE READING SPEED.

THAT WAS A MISTAKE THAT SHOULD NEVER BE REPEATED!

JODY
