Joanne,
Try the "Focused On" video series by AFB Press. There is one video on
the importance and need for social skills in general and then one on
social skills among b/vi teeanagers and young adults:

Hello everyone,
Does anyone have a recommendation for a video either online or
otherwise, to use as a presentation to a parent (who has a blind child
in middle school) on social skills? This is a parent who is resistant.
I don't want a power point presentation of words. I'm looking for
visuals preferably in a film format. My feeling is if I show this
parent textbook style information, she will just pass over it. Any
ideas? As always, thanks. JoAnne
