Jen, I don't know what state you live in, but here in NJ we have a
l;ending program for AT items based at our state library for the blind.
Also, you might find something similar at your ATAP program,a federally
funded AT demo site in all states except for NJ and TN. Why wouldn't you
use low incidence funds if the user is K-12 or VR funds if an adult?

Hello everyone- reposting this message as there have been no replies as
yet.
Has anyone found a place that rents out note takers, rather than
requiring you to purchase them?
Please let me know if you have found such a place. 
I know of a few places that do loan programs for 1 month to 3 months,
but am looking to specifically rent one for a long period of time (and
that will allow us to upgrade to a newer one every couple of years or
so)
