Hi Kathy,
I don't know anything about the Voice-it-all personally, so I Googled
it and found one person's opinion at:
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/57670/10_reasons_not_to_buy_the_voiceitall.html

There's also an article about color identifiers in general at:
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-color-identifier.htm
How about the Colorino Talking Color Identifier from APH? It costs
$195, and APH products are usually pretty reliable. Whenever I've had a
problem with APH products, the good folks at APH are usually pretty
reasonable about fixing the problem, if they can.

There are several brands of color identifiers available if you Google
color identifier. If you're looking for one at a more reasonable price,
there is one called the ColorStick for $95 at
http://alegrobot.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=A&Product_Code=CSV1

(By the way, this is for your information only and not an endorsement
of any product or service.)

Does anyone have experience with color detectors? My student would
like
to get one and we don't know which one works well. We just saw one
called a "Voice-it-all" and it also is a recorder and a money
identifier
. Does anyone have any experience with this?
