Dear Colleagues,
What's your why for becoming an educator for students with visual impairments? Everyone has their own unique story for how they found this profession and we want to hear your story!
We are currently recruiting teachers of students with visual impairments (TVIs) to answer a few questions about "What's Your Why" on how they learned about the profession and why they decided to become a TVI. This anonymous survey will take about 10-20 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey participants can enter a raffle to be randomly selected for a $25 gift card to Amazon or Target.
Who Should Participate?
- Anyone who graduated from a US university-based training program for teachers of students with visual impairments (TVI) between 2000 and 2021.
- Participants may or may not currently be a TVI, you do not need to have active licensure or be currently employed as a TVI to participate.
You can access the survey here https://redcap.link/WhyTVI
Please consider forwarding this survey opportunity with colleagues in the field. We are seeking a diverse representation of individuals who decided to become a TVI.
Thank you,
Rachel Schles
