Please see the information below from the organizers of the 2nd Global Conference on Assistive Technology, Beijing, China. Event is very important to include Assistive Technology under the Belt and Road initiative.

The Global Conference on Assistive Devices & Technology Industry (ASEM Plus) as an integral part of the ASEM Disability Cooperation Event was successfully held by China Disabled Persons’ Federation and World Health Organization in October 2015. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and German Chancellor Angela Merkel graced the opening event and addressed the participants.
The Second Global Conference on Assistive Technology, jointly hosted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, China Disabled Person’s Federation, World Health Organization, International Telecommunication Union and Rehabilitation International (TBD), will take place on September 14, 2017 in Beijing China.
The discussion will be focused on the following subjects:
The conference will bring together global experts, scholars and representatives of enterprises in the field of assistive technology and speakers are invited for the conference.
