Dear Division 2 Members, The AER International conference is not far away. AER International Conference 2018 Reno, Nevada July 25-29, 2018 The Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and Employment Division will share a table at a planned divisions meeting and "expo". We have a great give-away awaiting those who visit us. We will have a business meeting and awards ceremony (time TBD) which you also do not want to miss. New division officers will be installed and the Division's Louis Vieceli Award will be given out. There will be time for networking and we will cover a timely topic germane to our Division. This is a last call for Vieceli Award nominees. The Vieceli Award honors a professional dedicated to the employment of people who are blind or have low vision. Please send me the name of your nominee's along with contact information and a brief explanation of why you feel the individual should receive the award. Finally, nominations will be closing soon for the officer positions of Chair-elect and Secretary-Treasurer. If you have someone in mind or yourself, please send me your nominee's name, contact information and brief explanation of their qualification for the position. The Chair-elect serves for 2 years and automatically becomes the Chair. The Secretary Treasurer records the minutes of the biennial business meeting and officer meetings and tracks division expenditures.
