(Low Vision) PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR I Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Educational Product Research, this position contributes expertise and extensive content knowledge in low vision and vision loss for the purpose of product research, development, and management. Serve as an accessibility expert in the area of low vision EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or advanced certification beyond Bachelor's. Post-Master's preferred. Degree must be in an area related to low vision or vision loss. Seven (7) or more years of experience related to low vision or vision loss. Classroom or rehabilitation experience is required. Must have a strong understanding of the use of technologies (both software and hardware) in instructional, rehabilitation, and home settings. Must show experience in leading teams, being able to communicate, compromise, and work across departmental lines while insuring successful completion of projects. CLVT or CVRT required Must be able to travel up to 25% of time. Must possess excellent verifiable organizational and project/time management experience and skills required in an environment of rapidly changing priorities. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
