Hi Board,

I have just gotten back a computer in my home after 3 weeks.  I did not miss
having one calling out to me every day.

As a result of software changes, I am dealing with a large quantity of
emails dating back a long time.

I am wondering if we can have a discussion about how long to retain
materials and what types of materials we should retain over the long term.

Possibly over email or at one of our meetings.  I think it would be good to
have something in our manual for guidance.

Roberta,

I can not recall a discussion at a board meeting about how long to retain
emails.  I usually delete them after I take care of the work involved on my
work account.  On the MAER@gmail.com account I move the message to the
"2021-maer-emails-responded-to" folder when I complete the work.

I'm just a little jealous that you did not have a computer for 3 weeks.

Happy summer!
