Greetings to all AER Administration Division members! The Administration
Division Board is happy to announce that the division listserv is now
active!

As a member benefit of the division, you have been subscribed to the list.
This list is reserved for division members only (so if you know of someone
that would benefit from this list and membership in the division, please
tell them to become a member and go to www.aerbvi.org
http://www.aerbvi.org/ to sign up!). This list can be used as a great
resource for keeping up with hot topics in the field, a great place to ask
your fellow members about pressing questions or challenges you might be
facing in your daily professional life, and a way to keep up with division
happenings as well.

A couple of housekeeping items we'd like to review. Please remember that AER
has policies and guidelines for all listservs and you can view those
policies at www.aerbvi.org http://www.aerbvi.org/ .

Please remember that when you want to reply to a message on the list, if you
hit "reply," you will be responding only to the person who originally sent
the email. If you hit "reply all," you will be responding to the entire
list.

If you want to send an email to the list, all you need to do is address the
email to admindiv@lists.aerbvi.org

More information such as how to subscribe to the digest form of the listserv
or if you decide to unsubscribe from the list, you can follow the link
below.

Hello Administrative Listserv Members! During this time of year we associate with renewal, I just wanted to share the good news: The AER Regional Conference is back!

Announcing the AER Regional Conference Featuring COMA's O&M Conference Within a Conference, November 13-15, 2009, at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Centre.

Abstract Submission Now Open

Conference highlights:

    2½ days of training in all specialties in the blind and visually impaired field.

    More than 70 top-notch presentations in a relaxed setting.

    Unbelievable lodging rate of $99US per night, plus tax/single or double.

    AER Exhibit Hall showcasing the latest products and services.

    Pre-Conference Obstacle Avoidance Workshop.

Here's where you come in! Abstracts are now being accepted for this conference. We are looking for presentations focusing on all aspects of the field, including Orientation and Mobility, Education, Technology, Multiple Disabilities/Deafblind, Low Vision Therapy, Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, and much more.

To learn more about the conference and how to submit your abstract, visit www.aerbvi.org/regionalconf. Abstract submissions will be accepted until June 30, 2009. Registration and hotel reservations, including the free roommate matching program, will be available soon.
