On November 1, 2016, the federal government is hosting a national youth forum in Ottawa, seeking consultation from youth who have life experience, work experience or academic experience related to disability. With many of us working with young people, I thought I would pass this along.
To ensure that the voices of students with visual impairments are represented and heard, I encourage you to share this information with any students or young people (15-30) who may be interested in making a difference and taking on a leadership opportunity. The deadline to submit an application is September 15, 2016. Application criteria can be found on the Accessible Canada website:
