Employment-related Sessions at AFBLC

I received the below information (extracted) from American Foundation for
the Blind regarding employment-related sessions at its annual Leadership
conference (AFBLC) this March in Arlington.  To register for the conference,

The joint AFBLC/Virginia AER conference takes place from March 2-4, 2017, at
the Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA.

Each year during the AFB Leadership Conference, we recognize a blind or
visually impaired individual who has served as an extraordinary mentor or
who has attained remarkable professional success with the Stephen Garff
Marriott Award. This year's recipient is both: Bob Vetere, senior workplace
accommodation specialist with Northrop Grumman's Global Corporate
Responsibility organization, has dedicated his career to mentoring and
creating employment opportunities for those with disabilities. As such, we
look forward to presenting him with the 2017 Marriott Award during the 2017
Joint AFB Leadership and Virginia AER Conference. Bob will receive his award
on Thursday, March 2, during the 8:30 a.m. general session, where he will
also serve as a panelist on a session on employment, along with Denna
Lambert, disability programs manager at NASA. The session will be moderated
by Russell Shaffer, senior manager of public affairs, constituent relations,
and stakeholder engagement at Walmart, and a past recipient of the Marriott
Award.
