Hi everyone! Cyndy Greenacre asked me to post this message -- folks who are certified in one area, like O&M, but interested in gaining a second certification would qualify.
LOW VISION THERAPIST POSITION IN DC:
Are you a professional with a certification in blind rehabilitation, like O&M, but interested in joining a growing team where you can get financial and administrative support to pursue a certification in low vision? We are currently recruiting for a Blind Rehab Specialist to join our team in exciting Washington DC at the Dept of Veteran Affairs Medical Center. We will “cross train” the right candidate, so if the individual is certified in another area, but not CLVT certified, and interested in pursuing CLVT, we would support their efforts (Help with funding for classes, support for internship hours, mentor, etc)
External announcement (1/17/19 – 2/8/19 this date will be extended): https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/521891300
