Dear Teachers,

My name is Genevieve Francoeur-Anderson, and I am a teacher of the blind and doctoral student in the School of Special Education at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC).  I am working on a research project entitled “Determining Educational Services for Students who are Deafblind: Insights from the Field.”

I am looking for teachers of the blind and teachers of the deaf who are currently working with a K-21 caseload, and have experience working with students who are deafblind to participate in a short interview.  We will talk about your experiences working with students who are deafblind. The entire process will include signing a consent form, filling out a short demographic questionnaire, and a 45-60 minute phone interview.

There will be no compensation for your time, just the opportunity to provide insight into ways to improve educational services for students who are deafblind.

If you are interested or have questions, please contact me at genevieve.francoeura@unco.edu mailto:genevieve.francoeura@unco.edu or Cell: 303-324-8324.

Thank you and please feel free to share this message!

Sincerely,

Genevieve Francoeur-Anderson, M.A., COMS
