Hi Colleagues,

I hope this first day of February is going well for you. I know many of you
are in the midst of a snow storm. Sending warm and safe thoughts your way.
I am privalaged to be part of a group of professionals who are working on
understanding the impact of COVID-19 on education of students with visual
impairments, including those with additional disabilities and
deafblindness. To document what we are learning from the second Access and
Engagement study, we need photos. We want to show students, families, and
professionals engaged in all types of learning and professional activities.

Please read my blog post, Share Your Photos: Let’s Show What Education
Looks Like in 2021

and consider sharing your experiences and inviting your students and
families to share theirs by submitting photos. At the bottom of the blog is
the release form in English and Spanish. Those submitting photos will be
entered into a drawing for an Amazon $25 gift card.

If you haven’t seen the first Access and Engagement report

take a moment to learn about the impact of COVID-19 on education in the
spring. A lot has changed and a lot is different!
