I am so excited - SAS Gloss, the free annotation app - is back in the app store!!!  It is available for iPads (not iPhones). Here are two posts about SAS Gloss:

SAS Gloss: O&M purposeshttp://www.perkinselearning.org/technology/blog/creating-low-vision-maps-sas-gloss-app

Classroom purposeshttp://www.perkinselearning.org/technology/blog/using-annotation-app-classroom-low-vision-students

Please take a minute to rate this app in the app store and MENTION that you work with students who are visually impaired! SAS Gloss was updated BECAUSE the VI community advocated for it. This app is wonderful for students who are visually impaired. The app is user-friendly for all ages; a student can simply snap a picture of a print handout and can easily color or type answers directly on the digital worksheet. The tools are easy to see and simple to use and Zoom works well to enlarge the details as needed.

Enjoy!
