*IFB Solutions is pleased to announce the return of in-person S.E.E. camps
in 2021! We are hosting two free residential camps this summer, both aimed
at students in grades 8-12 who are blind or visually impaired. *
S.E.E. Camp H20 at YMCA Camp Hanes
King, NC • 828-667-9778 x5802 • jhardwig@ifbsolutions.org
jhardwig@ifbsolutions.org
S.E.E. Camp H2O is an overnight camp for kids who are blind or visually
impaired, and who are looking for a traditional camp experience. Camp Hanes
offers a wealth of activities—from climbing and kayaking to archery and
ropes courses—and we’ll do our best to keep things challenging, accessible,
and fun. This will be a blended camp: S.E.E. Campers will have their own
cabins, counselors, and schedule, but will also join in some activities
with campers with typical vision. Cost: Free.
Co-Ed • Rising 8th-12th graders • Residential • July 4 through July 9,
2021
S.E.E. Adventure Camp
Bryson City, NC • 828-667-9778 x5802 • jhardwig@ifbsolutions.org
jhardwig@ifbsolutions.org
S.E.E. Adventure Camp is for teens who are blind or have a significant
visual impairment, and who are ready to stretch their legs and hit the
trail. We plan to hike, raft, climb, swim, and zip in and around the
Nantahala Gorge in Western North Carolina. We’ll stay in the group lodge
at Wildwater Nantahala, and spend time at the Nantahala Outdoor Center as
well. Cost: Free.
(Please note that S.E.E. Adventure Camp is already full for 2021, but
campers can get their name on the waitlist, which will provide them with an
early registration option in 2022.)
Co-Ed • Rising 8th-12th graders • Residential • July 25 through July 29,
2021
