LAST CALL for 2018–2020 Memorial List:
Dear Colleagues...
AER's History and Memorial Committee relies on your assistance in identifying those in our "professional family" who have died during each biennium. This listing also recognizes other individuals of professional significance to our members and our organization, even if they were not current AER members.
We invite you—indeed, we encourage you—to submit names of our colleagues who have died in the 2018–2020 biennium. Please submit information using the link provided below no later than 5:00 PM Eastern time, Friday, November 27.
The Memorial List is a tradition normally read at the opening session of AER’s biennial international conference. This year, however, the list will be presented at AER’s virtual 2020 "Community Reunion—Taking Pride, Giving Thanks, Sharing Hope” on the evening of November 30th.
A listing of names previously submitted is included in this message. If you know of colleagues who passed away since January 2018 and are not on this list, please submit their names using this link: bit.ly/AER2018-2020Memorial http://bit.ly/AER2018-2020Memorial.
The submission form will ask you for the following information:
Your email address;
Deceased colleague's name;
The colleague's state or province of residence;
A brief statement of her or his role in the education or rehabilitation of people who are blind or visually impaired;
An obituary or a link to an obituary or tribute, if available.
