AER is pleased to invite you to participate in an online Webinar this
evening as part of our Mangold Webinar Series.
This presentation will discuss the importance of physical activity for all
children and the impact which visual impairments have on participating in
physical activities. The presenters will talk about strategies for
increasing physical activity involvement for children with visual
impairments through collaboration between professionals, modifying
equipment, and choosing appropriate activities.
Presenters: Justin A. Haegele, MSed, CAPE, is a certified adapted physical
education teacher who is currently teaching at a school for children with
autism in the New York City area. Robbin Keating, is a Vision Rehabilitation
Therapist for the Connecticut Board of Education and Services for the Blind.
Those attending the online Webinar live will automatically receive one hour
of CE credit. If you are unable to attend tonight's session, you may access
a recorded version later then take a short test to receive CE credit. Cost
is $30 for AER members attending the live event, $40 for the recorded
session. Non-member price is $75.
