Hello All,
I have a student who came this year from our regional program in another town. One of his goals is to use video magnification equipment to access his academics. What devices, software, etc. have people used and found successful?
Thank you very much!

Good morning Whitney,
If you wanted the best then I would get the Optelec Clearview C panel with
speech and 24 inch touchscreen. It has the most intuitive interface and the
worlds best OCR built into a desktop video Magnifier. You can do multiple
languages, you can open up files from a flash drive. If you want the best
than this is the one.
If you are in any of the states: Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas,
Iowa, Nebraska, or Colorado please contact me at the number below and I
will help you. We also carry the majority of the other manufactures.

I am the Virginia owner and representative for Atlantic Low Vision. I believe the student is best judge of what will work for them. We provide free demonstrations of all our devices. It helps for student to have a hands on approach to seeing the best device for them.
Please take a look at our site and contact me if you and your student would like to see a device.
