Dear Colleagues,

Thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences about conducting online survey research in special education and related fields, including any experiences you may or may not have had with online bots.

Our survey is still open but closing soon on Friday, June 30, 2023, your responses are important to inform our understanding of researchers’ experiences of running online surveys in our field.

Who Can Participate?

  • Anyone (student, faculty member, researcher, etc.) who conducted at least one IRB-approved online research survey between January 2010 and the present.
  • The information gathered in the online survey was intended for dissemination and/or improvement of services and supports for children, youth, young adults with disabilities, their families, teachers, and/or related service providers, as related to early intervention, school-aged special education, pre-and post-secondary transition supports and services.

If interested, please complete this brief screener https://redcap.link/swisjz9b

After reviewing your screener submission, we’ll send you a link to complete the full survey, which will take approximately 5-60 minutes to complete depending on how much you choose to share.

Please consider forwarding this survey opportunity with colleagues and former students who may be eligible to participate. The survey is open to anyone who has conducted online research related to the above-mentioned areas. If you have already completed the survey—Thank you! No need to reply or complete the survey a second time.

With appreciation,
Rachel Schles
