Affordable Care Act Alert For those of you who are personally affected or the students and adults whom you serve might be, please notify your members of Congress that any change to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) should protect 'pre-existing conditions' provisions as well as the integrity of Medicaid. The current 'repeal and replace bill (the MacArthur/Meadows amendment) is about 10 votes shy of moving toward the Senate. Its current wording would put both these items in danger. AER is a non-partisan organization. AER cares about the professionals it represents and the people they serve. Therefore, both Democratic and Republican members of Congress need to hear from you about the issues that matter.
