I've also had a good response from a site called Kids Bright Eyes.

Subject: Frames for glasses
Good Morning one and all,
I have a student who uses a wheelchair, bilateral head switches for
auditory scanning, plus another head switch to activate his wheelchair. He
also has a residual ATNR. To date, prescription lenses have not worked well
because of the head switches. Also, the ATNR ends up forcing the glasses to
"smash" into the side of his head. He would truly benefit from wearing
glasses and several different frames have been tried - especially those
discussed in previous responses to similar questions to this listserve. Do
any of you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
