I bought this program and it works better than the other alternatives for OCR.  Voice Dream Reader is a wonderful ap and you have to purchase it along with the scanner program.  But, they are both worth the approximately $20 you have to spend.  I also have Voice Dream Writer and Voice Dream Mail.  I’m not that fond of the mail program and have not used writer but think it could be very helpful.
