Hello List,
I have a question for iPhone users, and please forgive me if this has been posted in the past. Are you using VoiceOver or some other app to access the iPhone without the use of any vision? All suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Kate Blough
I am using Voice Over and sometimes my Perkins Products Braille display when I really need detail.

If Voiceover is on I can access the phone using the touch pad on the
screen, a wireless qwerty key board or a braille display like the
Braillenote Apex or Refreshabraille.
Let me know if you have additional questions.

I'm using Voiceover-- it's free and very effective. And, it comes with the phone.
There's a learning curve...but I've found it to be well worth it. Siri is also a huge help-- I hardly ever type texts anymore.

I use VoiceOver exclusively. The book, Getting Started with the IPhone, available in braille and DAISY, from National Braille Press is very helpful, and a tactual overlay/screen protector, available online for $7.00 from the AT Guys, has improved my typing speed and accuracy with the onscreen keyboard . The iPhone is the most useful and user-friendly mainstream technology I have ever bought or used! Penny
