Second Request

The AER Professional Personnel Recruitment Committee is in search of sample
handouts that can be used when doing presentations in various settings about
recruiting people to the vision field. We are also looking for sample
outlines that would cover the basic topics of what to present to assorted
groups. This information would be posted on AER's website and available for
use by other professionals so the wheel is not constantly being re-created.

Depending on what we receive, the outlines would be either individually
posted with credit to the author or compiled into one document so that
information can be selected which pertains to the presentation. The handouts
would be credited to the author.

  1. Sample handouts might include a generic resource list, a chart of
statistics, a definition list, an itemized list of daily responsibilities of
a teacher of the visually impaired, mobility instructor, vision rehab
    therapist or low vision therapist.

  2. Sample outlines might include an outline of a presentation to a general
education class at a university or an outline of a presentation to an
adapted physical education class at a community college.

Please don't just star ??this email with great intentions of getting back to
it in several weeks or months! If you have great handouts or outlines,
please email them to me (audrey.dannenberg@gmail.com) by Friday, December 4,
2015. That is after you are totally recovered from Thanksgiving holiday
festivities!

If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you.
