I’m VERY pleased to tell you that there will be another HNKC seminar by Dr. Gene Bourquin, Monica Godfrey-Lehrer and me!  Together, we have nearly a century of experience in O&M and deaf-blindness and have been doing these seminars almost every year since 2002.  We thought our 2017 seminar would be our last, but good news -- Gene is coming out of retirement for another one this Fall!

“Beyond Arms’ Reach: O&M Curriculum Made Accessible for Travelers who are Deaf-Blind” is a two-part hybrid Course – both parts are required to complete the course.  The first part is on line October 26 – November 8, 2018.  The second part is November 13-16 on the HKNC campus in New York where, among lots of hands-on activities for applying what you learned, you get experience teaching a deaf-blind student with an interpreter.

I’m attaching a flyer with more information – I hope to see you there!
