Recently there have been lively discussions about the accessibility of the MAP growth assessments. As TVIs, we have all experienced the accessibility issues of on-line assessments and educational materials. NWEA has been hard at work on these accessibility issues with their MAP growth assessments. Paths to Technology is creating a series of posts on this topic - please join in the discussions with questions, suggestions, and personal experiences of using the ACCESSIBLE version of the MAP growth assessments. Together, we can help facilitate accessibility for our students! Here is the first post, Accessibility of MAP Assessments Series #1: Introduction http://www.perkinselearning.org/technology/blog/accessibility-map-assessments-series-1-introduction

Stay tuned for the second post covering common Q&As!

Has your student used the accessible MAP growth assessment? I would like to talk to you directly about your experience. Please contact me at: dianebrauner@me.com

Thank you!
