Join us to learn from three distinguished experts in the computer science field who will discuss the current K-12 computer science landscape, challenges in the field, especially regarding coding, and how inclusive design is making computer science more accessible while also contributing to the overall born accessible movement.  The presenters will share practical examples and answer questions at the conclusion of the webinar. At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify elements of inclusive design that contribute to increased accessibility of K-12 computer science curriculum
  • Discuss issues regarding block-based and text-based languages and the resulting solutions for different disability areas
  • Describe the advantages of Quorum, an evidence-based programming language, for students with disabilities
  • Summarize the vision of born accessible computer science

This webinar is for educators, students, and individuals who are interested in learning about the developments being made towards making computer science user-friendly and accessible for everyone.
