Social Skills for BLV students in Middle School  The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research, part of the federal HHS agency, just awarded ObjectiveEd a grant to build "Middle School Social Stories" for teens who are blind or low vision. Our research team includes Dr. Sharon Sacks and Dr. Karen Wolffe, who wrote the book: Social skills in vision impairment. Last year, we created Summer Job Story to help blind and low vision students practice getting a summer job, an important pre-ETS skill.
