Hi Everyone. Just a reminder that if you want to get in an "early order"
for our White Cane Day T-shirts, you have until August 15; shirts it in
this order will be mailed out in early September. After that, we will still
take orders until September 15 and those shirts will be mailed out in early
October. Money from the sales of these shirts helps to pay for shirts for
Wisconsin students and support the White Cane Fund at the Wisconsin Council
of the Blind and Visually Impaired.
Cost of shirts for non-Wisconsin students is $20, including shipping. As
always, shirts for Wisconsin preschoolers and students with visual
impairments in K-12 are free.
Our T-shirt design is based on the image for the musical Hamilton, where
the character (in our case, a female) is in silhouette, standing on a star
with her body being the top point. She has her left hand in the air with
her index finger extended and a cane in her right hand. The cane extends
diagonally across her body into the star. Our shirts will be tie dye for
most sizes (yellow for sizes where tie dye is not available -- toddler and
5XL, 6XL). Order yours today.
