I am also a student in O & M at UALR. I have many friends who are guide dog
users. I will forward your message to our Guide Dog Users of Washington
State list and one of them can help you I am sure. I will also send your
message to the President of GDUWS and she will also be able to help.
Good luck with the assignment. I am having issues finding a Certified
Rehabilitation Counselor to shadow and have not had any response from those
I have contacted - 6 total and no replies from any of them either by phone
or e-mail. If there are any CRCs in the southeastern Washington or
northeastern Oregon area who would let me shadow them for a 3-4 hour period
of time, so that I can write my term paper, I would appreciate that too. We
all must help each other.
Sending this to GDUWS and also to the AER list for my question on the CRC
shadowing experience.
