Hi All,

Because some of you have been interested in the past, here is the information for ordering shirts from our Wisconsin White Cane Day Celebration group.

This year, we have a Blues Brothers Theme; shirts are $20, with shipping included (PayPal or checks accepted). While supplies last, we will include a pair of celebration sunglasses with each order. Here is a description of the shirt (image is attached.. The link for ordering will be at the bottom of this message.

At the very top in white letters inside of black boxes (using the font from the Blues Brothers movie poster), it says "White Cane Day 2017). Underneath that is a horizontal white cane, with the tip to the left and grip to the right and strap gently dangling beneath the grip.

Going from top to bottom, left to right, we have: Female band member with a trumpet, "The Penguin," and "Mrs. Murphy." Next is "Elwood," "Jake" and a Jake's "fiancee." Next are 2 male band members, one with a hat, sunglasses, black vest and white shirt, another with hat and sunglasses and white shirt. In the front is a black sign with black letters in white boxes (same font as above) reading "We're On A Mission" and a dog guide in harness. She has a halo because she passed away before we could celebrate with her. Next to her is her person, wearing sunglasses and a white shirt and playing a guitar (in the role of Matt "Guitar" Murphy").

All of the people on the shirt live in Southeastern Wisconsin. All students with visual impairments in Wisconsin are eligible to get a shirt for free. Money raised beyond what is needed to put on this event is donated to the White Cane Fund at the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired. This fund provides free white canes to Wisconsin residents. If you have any questions, please contact us at WisconsinWCD@gmail.com.

Order here: bit.ly/WhiteCaneDayShirt.

Please feel free to share our link.

Thanks,
Julie
