Hi everyone! We are very excited that Ellie Carlson will be one of the presenters at the HKNC seminar on O&M for individuals who are Deaf-Blind this November! As a Certified O&M Specialist and a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, Ellie will share strategies for assessing and instructing people who are Deaf-Blind traveling with guide dogs. She has over 16 years of professional experience in this field and is currently working as the Western Regional Field Representative and Deaf-Blind Specialist for our partners on Long Island, the Guide Dog Foundation. We’re so glad she’ll be able to come – her sessions are always a hit of the seminar!
