Dear All:

We are thrilled with the interest and participation in the MCA Denver +
Touch and Create Studio Tactile workshop series. I'm excited to share the
details and registration for the 3rd Spring Tactile Art Workshop that we
have planned in partnership with Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver and
blind guest artist *Valerie Alcaraz *(link below) for middle or high school
students who are blind or have low vision on *Thursday, March 18 at 5pm
(5pm to 6:30pm MT) *with the 4th workshop planned on Thursday March 25th
The workshop is FREE for all registered participants and the materials
for the workshops will be mailed to the first 15 registered participants
prior to the event. I can't thank Museum of Contemporary Arts Denver
enough for making this possible.

In this workshop, we will cover the basic techniques for making your choice
of pinch or coil pots and take you on a bit of a sound journey while we're
at it. Learn how to make your pots into an earthy flute-like sounding
whistle with a few extra steps. Participants will explore form and texture,
utilizing stamps and other clay tools. No prior experience is necessary to
participate in this workshop.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you have any trouble
registering for the workshop.

Best Regards,
Rishika
