Hi, friends – one of my blind friends and I are having an email discussion about her potential furniture purchase. I’ve been trying to explain the similarities and differences (tactually and emotionally) between the different types of wood; walnut, red oak, maple, and cherry. Admittedly, some of this is in the eye of the beholder. Suggestions for descriptions and a better understanding of this concept would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
