I have a 10-year old student who has multiple disabilities, including severe cognitive impairment and severe CVI. She appears to have a small amount of vision in her right eye--looks at lights and moving objects (for example, balloon). Her parents want us to continue to work on her visual development, although I doubt that it will develop much more. She is not very interested any longer with the APH Light box with overlays, activating it with switch. I was thinking that there might be apps for iPad that would be motivating--I was thinking visual input only, not auditory. I have a couple, but want any suggestions from any of you regarding appropriate apps on iPad for motivating use of her vision.
Thanks,
Diane

This is a list that was compiled by one of the TVI's in my district, I
really like the EDA Play apps because you can touch anywhere on the screen
to interact with the app and the visuals are great for students with CVI!

Yes there are incredible apps for CVI training for the iPad
Even severely and any impaired children seem to love these. You can pair it with a switch and child can activate it and move the windows along as they want to
