AERNet Colleagues,

Do you have a student who is doing math at the 5th to 7th grade level who can benefit from systematic instruction in using graphics to gather information to solve math problems?  As a TVI, are you looking for strategies to teach your students so they are efficient consumers of graphics?

If you said "yes" to either of the above questions, than this opportunity is for you and your student(s).  The AnimalWatch Vi: Building Graphics Literacy project is developing a TVI curriculum and accompanying iPad app to support students in building their graphics literacy skills.  Students will complete 5-7 lessons during spring 2018.  The attached flyer provides more information.

Want to learn more?  Please email Dr. L. Penny Rosenblum at rosenblu@U.arizona.edumailto:rosenblu@U.arizona.edu or call her at 520-621-1223.  Don't miss out on this great opportunity!

Penny
